Circuit Design

Based in Wigan
We are expanding our technology research and development department and are looking for one or more electronic engineers to drive forward the development of new products. This role involves taking responsibility for the electronics design from the definition of initial requirements, prototyping and design for manufacture. You will be working closely with our in-house product design team to develop these products. Experience in most or all of the following areas is required:
• Microcontrollers
• Embedded C development
• Assembler programming
• Digital and Analogue circuit design
• PCB design and layout
• USB communications
• Low power wireless networking
• Low power circuit design
• LCD screens
• Power supply design
• CE Marking and other certification processes
• Failure Analysis
Additionally, any experience with GPS and Data logging would be beneficial. You should also:
• be able to effectively communicate with other internal teams to determine functionality and be able to develop and work to plans
• be methodical and able to accurately evaluate and develop products as well as to produce documentation to ISO Standards
• develop detailed technical specifications based on Customer requirements
• be educated to degree level in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• have experience of design for manufacture
• be willing to work promptly and flexibly as part of a dynamic team
• be able to contribute ideas freely both within your specialty and as part of the wider business
