Retail Assistant Manager

That means not only making innovative and interesting chocolate but critically it means the retail teams have to offer customer service without equal. How you say "hello" may be the only experience customers have of Monty's before the taste buds get our chocolate hit. We are as passionate about our customers experience as we are about making great chocolate.
Objective
To assist the Manager ensuring the shop looks great, making a profit, managing staff and ensuring
every customer leaves happier than when they arrived!
Job Description
*Full responsibility for the shop and staff in the absence of the store manager.
*Assist with the implementation of company standards in all areas of customer service, recruitment, development and general operating practices.
*Assist in the merchandising and displays in store to ensure optimum presentation.
*Ensure customer service standards are met and exceeded
*Assist the shop Manager with sales performance analysis and assist implement appropriate steps to maximise sales profitability and achievement of targets.
*Motivate the staff to provide the very best customer service.
*Ensure the shop is kept clean and tidy at all times.
*Preparation of products in a clean and hygienic manor.
*Assist with the management of stock – ordering, delivery, storage, stock rotation and wastage.
*Communicate any issues along with pro active solutions.
*Ensure Health and Safety compliance and standards are met at all times.
*Communicate effectively with all the departments within the company.

* Previous retail experience with key holder

* Excellent customer service skills
* Team Player who can motivate and inspire others to
achieve business goals and targets
* Has fresh ideas and can communicate these and win
team ‘buy in’
* Do it now, pro active personality
* Flexible attitude and adaptable to change
* Ability to work under pressure
* Must be well presented, confident, articulate and be
fluent in English
