IT INFRASTRUCTURE & SUPPORT ANALYST, Up to £25K pa

IT-Freedom is a leading software provider to the Insurance Industry. We have three core products sold in the UK and worldwide. We are expanding our team and are now looking to recruit dynamic individuals to this newly created role.
Position: IT Infrastructure & Support Analyst
Location: Camberley, Surrey
Salary: Up to £25k per annum
Benefits: 25 Days Holiday, Healthcare and Group Pension Plan with a 3% contribution.
Hours: 37.5 per week between 8am and 6pm
ROLE:
Working in a small but experienced team, you will look after the Company infrastructure, provide PC and server support as well as support our applications installed at clients. Most support will be remote but some onsite installation work is required so all candidates will be expected to be well presented.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage the Company IT infrastructure – network, servers, backups, VPNs, telephone system;
- To assist in the support of our web based applications – experience will be gained in JBOSS, Apache, Windows, Linux, SQL Server;
- Build and support all PCs and laptops in the Company including support for Microsoft Office;
- Manage Microsoft Exchange for the Company;
- Maintain Company asset register;
- Install and support third party products including document generation (www.aia-itp.com) and Kofax scanning (www.kofax.com).
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
The candidate will preferably be educated to A-Level standard or possess an equivalent IT qualification or a computer related degree.
A minimum of 2 - 3 years proven experience in a similar role with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office is critical. Experience of Linux is also essential. Any experience of Open Source products, databases and monitoring tools (Hobbit/Xymon, Nagios etc.) would be an advantage. Training and Microsoft certification will be given to the right candidates.
